Gratitude Sunday

I'm joining Taryn at Wooly Moss Roots  for Gratitude Sunday.

What have I been grateful for this week?

~Beautiful weather for our camping trip. It was wonderful to have a chance to get away and relax.

~Having a chance to visit our dear friends. I always enjoy time spent with them. We connect on so many levels and our children are like extra siblings, they mesh together so perfectly.

~Coming home. Because that is really the place I love the best!

~A taste of cooler weather and seeing the first autumn colours. Fall is just the best isn't it?

~Back to school! Not for us though, we are a life learning tribe. But I love it when we have the parks and movie theatres to ourselves once September is here.

~Going to a weekday matinee with my kids! We saw Paranorman, which was quite spooky and cute and made us all think about Halloween! Half price Tuesday matinees are awesome!

~Finding some peaches for canning this late in the season! And now the weather is so perfect for canning! Yay!

~Taking out my mandolin after a year of not playing. Learning is so much fun!

~Finding time to knit something for myself.

~Feeling inspired to create.

~Finding a new kitten from one of our barn cats. She is so sensible and only has one at a time. Very wise kitty!

~Finding good things in my garden despite the lack of work I put into it this year. There are an abundance of tomatoes, corn and cabbage. And beautiful sunflowers of course!

~Getting to bed earlier. My kids and I were getting to bed so terribly late each night I was feeling the lack of sleep, but camping seems to have reset out inner clocks. It feels so good!
