Halfway Log Dump
Kris emerges from the wooded trail onto the spectacular white stony beach of Georgian Bay
The Dog Rock. Doesn't it look like a dog's head? Look at that beautiful carribean blue water!

After Singing Sands we decided to finish our day by going down Emmet Lake Road. There is a short trail there that leads to Georgian Bay. This area is called Halfway Log Dump. It is an amazingly beautiful place. The water is brilliantly blue and there are piles of rounded white stones. The coastline consists of pale cliffs and forests as far as you can see in either direction.
It seemed to have such a calming effect on the children too. After spending some time there they seemed pretty mellow.
